i have a question, too: you mentioned a lion i think it was and someone about to be “predated” upon, I think was what you said. . . do you not use the word “preyed”?

I define anxiety as an ongoing and generally rather amorphous state, whereas fear is more immediate and focused on a particular object.
Yes, what I meant was “preyed upon.”
